Fun Events this Summer!

Are you ready for all this?

At library events, you get more than mere entertainment. You get some life-enriching stuff, for instance: A better understanding of your world, a plethora of solid resources, an eyeful of beautiful art.

June 15 - Beginning Microsoft Word

Learn the basics of using Microsoft Word and Office, including how to use some of the basic tools on the ribbon bar to create, edit, and format simple documents. Did you know there are templates available to create your own new items? If time allows, some of these extra features will be examined.

June 22 - Using the Internet

This class takes the mystery out of common online tools, such as email and search engines. We will go over the parts of the browsers and their different names for features. Learn how to print, screen capture, and change options. Basic knowledge of the mouse and keyboard is required.

June 29 - E-Book and Online Resources

Come and see the online free tools available through the library system. You can check out books to your own Kindle, Kindle App or reading device. We will also look at the other search tools and services available through the library's website.
